 Civil District Court 129: Republican Michael Landrum has an impressive level of experience, training and background that make him a prime candidate for this bench. He has practiced law for 35 years and is board-certified in both civil trial law and civil appellate law. He has also served as a tax master for the county's civil courts, including the 129th. These years of in-depth work in our courtrooms have granted him a balanced view on the role of judges.

GETTING OUT THE VOTE FOR NOVEMBER 

After the longest primary season in memory, I am now your Republican Nominee for Judge of the 129^thCivil District Court.  I thank everyone who supported my primary run with their encouragement, prayers, donations and, of course, votes. The results speak for themselves: qualifications and experience really do matter.

I ask for your vote, and request that you ask family and friends to join you in supporting me for judge of the 129th Civil District Court in the November general election.  Early voting begins on October 22 and ends at 7:00 PM on November 2. Election Day is Tuesday, November 6. Please take a few moments to consider my qualifications and experience by clicking on the “Background” tab above.

My Democrat opponent has demonstrated his inability to handle the job since being swept onto the bench with the Obama wave in 2008. Texans deserve an upgrade for many reasons, not the least being that our economic prosperity depends on a reliable, consistent and impartial judiciary.

You and your family are more likely to be directly affected by the ruling of a judge than by the action of any other elected official. That’s why it’s critical that we have the best qualified women and men on the bench.
